DAY 1
The first day is devoted to Rapid inductions
When there is no time for a long induction, there is still time for good hypnosis.
This workshop is designed for health professionals, who work pragmatically and directly with patients: dentists, physicians, psychologists and other clinicians doing hands-on procedures with little time to deal with unexpected reactions including pain and anxiety. Something useful has to happen simply and quickly.
Based on a solid theoretical framework, participants will have the opportunity to practise in a chosen couple, as both patient and therapist.
DAY 2
The second day will complete this initiation with an interesting approach to Trance and communication and finishing with the Monday morning stuff.
The goals are to be able to recognise the trance state, to make use of what is happening, to communicate effectively and to end in clinical utility. These elements when incorporated into one’s work especially on Monday morning but also on other days should contribute to a successful therapeutic outcome.
Dr Gabor Filo, DDS, ABHD, is a Canadian dentist, clinical hypnotist and internationally established author with over four decades of experience. A Diplomate of the American Board of Hypnosis in Dentistry, Life Fellow of ASCH and Advisory Editor of the American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis. He is especially known for rapid hypnotic inductions. In the Routledge International Handbook of Clinical Hypnosis, he is the author of the chapter on “Rapid Hypnotic Inductions” and “Hypnodontics.”
